Telling Google's story

Google’s products are well-known for being helpful. But users didn’t have a real understanding of the company’s values, commitments, intentions, or the full potential of its product offering. We saw an untapped opportunity in Google’s About site – to take a site with a modest audience and grow it into something bigger and broader.

We led the most significant re-architecting of about.google since its 2016 relaunch. We rethought and redesigned it to be the fresh face of Google, courting a newer, younger audience. That meant a refocused content strategy, an overhaul of how the platform behaves and looks, and an extensible vision for a more social and content-forward digital experience.

After being revitalized with this new vision and stronger purpose, Google’s About site became their largest digital brand marketing platform, with over 1 billion cumulative users.
